Williams joins Farm Credit as loan officer

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) — Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV) announced Cole Williams accepted a loan officer position at the Clarksburg branch.

Williams was born and raised in Johnstown, Harrison County, where he still resides on his family farm. Williams is familiar with the agriculture industry, being a fifth-generation farmer whose operation consists of stocker cattle, cow/calf pairs and hay. Along with farming part-time, he is active with the West Virginia Cattlemen’s Association, Harrison County Livestock Association and Harrison County Farm Bureau.

Williams attended Potomac State College for his freshman and sophomore years. He then transferred to West Virginia University to complete his bachelor’s degree in animal and nutritional sciences with a minor in agribusiness management. He went on to complete his master’s degree in general agriculture at West Virginia University.
