West Virginia University Potomac State College will host a Juniors and Seniors Math Competition on May 10, with the competition beginning at 9 a.m. in Room 210 of Academy Hall.
Students from the surrounding counties who are currently in the 11th or 12th grade are invited to participate for the following prizes: 1st Place winner will receive a $500 tuition credit, 2nd Place a $300 tuition credit and 3rd Place a $200 tuition credit at Potomac State College.
Testing is from 9 to 10 a.m. (no calculators allowed); with the Keynote Presentation from 10 to 10:30 a.m., and the Awards Ceremony at 11:30 a.m.
Registration is free by emailing Assistant Professor of Mathematics Yelena Meadows at Yelena.meadows@mail.wvu.edu by noon on May 8. Please include the number of students who will be competing, and plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
