WVU Potomac State College nursing students form association

The West Virginia University School of Nursing: Potomac State College recently formed the Student Nurses’ Association on the Keyser campus.  The Student Nurses’ Association, more commonly known as SNA, is a student organization designed to bring together and mentor nursing students in order to prepare them for the profession of nursing by promoting the development of skills needed to be responsible and accountable members of the nursing profession; and to develop nursing students who are prepared to provide service to their community, state and abroad.

In addition to planning and providing community service in a variety of settings, students also attend conferences designed to bring them together as nursing students and to promote their involvement in professional organizations.  SNA members are currently planning their kick-off events for January when they return to campus.

The Potomac State nursing program is currently accepting applications for fall 2019 admission through January 15, 2019.  Acceptance into the program is competitive and spaces are limited to 24 students each fall.  The application and more information can be found at http://bit.ly/PSCNursing.

Potomac State College is part of the WVU System located on the Keyser campus.
